This is a very well conceived photo. It has an "old masters" flavor, with the lighting, the blacks and sepia tones, and use of negative space.

I see from your gallery that you like to explore women's lives and concerns, and you do so in a wide range of styles and subjects, and in varied and interesting ways.

This work is what I'm commenting on, though, and these are my thoughts: I don't know if you are the model or the photographer, I infer that you're both, I could be wrong.

I see a thoughtful and highly intelligent subject with a keen and intense focus and intellect, which would agree with what I've seen of your gallery.
